Ricks advises that the 2001 KDX 200 this is one of the finest all-around bikes ever built. By all means, go for an FMF pipe and a set of Boyesen reeds. Then go for two teeth more on the countershaft sprocket. Don't worry, the bike will easily pull the gearing.

We started with the Honda CRF230F and later on, due to an avalanche of mail, proceeded to work on a Yamaha TTR-230R. Both of these bikes are inexpensive, very reliable and parts are reasonable.
