Having ridden a 2002 model bike with stock 43mm forks we can say that we think something was probably

Our main objective was to rebuild both the top and bottom end to ensure our 380 engine has a long

mighty 380 a little bit yet not go over-board.

After riding the stock bike a few times it was clear we needed to make some upgrades to allow the 110

adding a new shock while still retaining the stock swingarm. These modifications were very affordable and the

We'd heard about those Baja bikes hitting 115 mph or more, while some experts have flatly stated that
no production motocross dirt bike will run over a hundred per. Even with the tallest possible gearing to be had.
Well sir, the arrival of a 495 KTM and a genuine maniac Six Days rider appeared to us to be the perfect
    combination.

I just recently purchased an 07 ttr 230. it has really low miles and runs perfect except sometimes it
just starts reving really high then dies. I think i need to reset the floats in the carb. Is this common with these
bikes? Do you have any other advice of what I should do?

We wondered if the Yamaha TTR230 would respond in much the same way as our Honda Project. We ordered a
14 and 15 tooth item from Sidewinder Sprockets, as well as a quality O-ring Krause chain and a hardened aluminum
rear sprocket to replace the boat anchor heavy steel one.

For a long time, we've sort of ignored the rear brake on our Project bike. With all our concentration
on forks and suspension, we lived with the sub-standard rear brake ? until we blew through a wooden fence when the
rear wheel responded like something from a 1970s bike. It slowed the wheel down poorly, then when some serious
pressure was applied, the rear wheel locked up and the rear end went into a convoluted swap.

I just scored a perfect set of 1987 CR250 forks, in cherry condition. Even the fork boots are in
perfect condition. Before I fly into my CRF230 to make the swap, I was wondering, since you have had time to chew
on it a while, if you would do anything differently?

"Honda has released most of their new bikes for 2005 with the striking exception of the CR250
and CR125 and a few other odds and ends. One of the ?odds? is the XR400, which is horribly overdue for an update.
Even the XR250 is due for some sort of a change, being unchanged for oh so many years. The changes that have been
made are not monumental, being more on the order of upgrades."

"The CR85R Expert boasts the same engineering and specs as the CR85R, but features bigger
wheels, a higher seat and longer swingarm. It?s made for the rider who grew just bit more than expected, but is not
yet ready for the full-sized 125 yet."

With all seemingly endless string of supercross videos, and an onslaught of print debris on the
