The bag is segmented into three main sections: a padded helmet compartment on one end, a large gear area in the center and a sealed waterproof compartment for boots on the other end. There are also other smaller compartments for things like goggles and tools. On the outside of the bag there is a roll out “mud flap” for standing on while changing. The construction of the 9900 is what sets it apart from its competitors; the bag has a tough plastic base that gives the bag rigidity and strength.
For those looking for a slightly smaller gear bag OGIO offers the 9800 bag, this bag has the same excellent quality as the 9900 but is a bit smaller and doesn’t have a boot compartment. For some uses this bag is excellent but we found it a little small for hauling our snowmobile gear around in. While the $199.99 OGIO 9900 isn't cheap, it is a very impressive piece of kit and one that will last. Being on the road all the time hauling gear around we really appreciate the benefits of a good quality and well designed bag. It is however our wardrobe the majority of the time.
