Disclaimer: This not a paid endorsement, rather a response to you - our valued
reader - to include more Product Reviews. Besides - I got it as a Xmas
gift and it's really cool! If you are anything
like me, after a long ride you are afraid to put your boots anywhere
near your gear. Besides the incredible risk of scratching the custom
paint job on the helmet - boot smell, clothes smell, and helmet smell
combine into this incredibly nasty smell, which has been known to kill
dirtbikers & their loved ones on washing day. [Contrary to
popular rumor here at Ride-Net - I have NEVER smelled my boots - and if
I did - I didn't inhale!] Toe Vent

Moose has made the
perfect product - a Boot Bag! Imagine! A ventilated bag in which boots
not only fit - but fit easily! A stunning concept! Gone are the days of
trying to fit oddly shaped, wet, muddy, smelly, disgusting boots into a
conventionally shaped puny bag. Now you can place your oddly shaped,
wet, muddy, smelly, disgusting boots into a inconventionally shaped
large bag. I have tried a number
of solutions, from throwing the boots into the far back of the truck, to
trying to stuff them into the compartment supposedly designed for them
in certain gear bags. This is better - put your deadly foot apparel in a
completely separate bag! Top Vent

The bag is well
designed for the task. It is made from some indestructible manmade
fabric, and is extremely well put-together. The top and toes of the bag
are made from a rugged nylon mesh, which allows deadly vapors to escape,
and permits drying without rotting. Two D-rings - top and bottom - allow
you to either attach the shoulder strap, or facilitate the draining of
the swamp sludge you acquired at the last beaver dam. If you are not a
shoulder strap kind-of-dirtbiker, it also has those standard strap
handles on top. The shoulder strap is fully adjustable so that you can
keep the smell as far away as possible, A mesh pocket on the front
securely stows your socks without allowing the smells to...
"brew." The bag opens
quite wide - you can easily slide both boots in at the same
time

The bag pictured here
is royal blue - last year's model. This could easily be interpreted as a
preference by Moose for the tuning fork company. Fortunately, Moose has
repaired their grievous error by making the current year an inoffensive
gray. To add a little spark, they have retired "the moose,"
and relogoed their products with a hip looking, abstract... um... logo
thingy. Anyway... For the dirtbiker who
thought they had everything - here is another must-have. For those folks
who scrimp and save every penny, glue cubes of rubber onto their
deceased tires, and replace their pants long after the underwear has
been showing for months; it only costs twenty bucks. You can show your
loved ones that you care! - Spodeboy |
