I am a
6'6" 105 kg novice rider who is improving quickly. I am
trying to decide between a 2001 TE 400 and either a new TE450 or
EXC 400.
Could you
please give me your opinion on which of the current 2002 models
would suit a larger rider. I have not been able to test the new
models, which have changed in ergos a fair bit.
Thank you.
Shannon.
I
am not completely familiar with Husqvarna's adjustments
regarding ergonomics, but I do know that KTMs allow for numerous
handlebar adjustments to accommodate for riders of all sizes.
I am a computer professional and musician. On vacation in 1994 I learned on my brothers XR 500 riding in the San Rafael Swell of Utah. After crashing dozens of times, bloodied and bruised, and finally snapping off the clutch perch I was hooked. My brother wasn't so impressed: "You owe me a new perch and some handlebars - Spodeboy!" A spode is a slow rider, or a rider who is unskilled, often times riding beyond their limits, and is often entertaining to watch.
Most of my haunts are in Colorado and Utah but always on the lookout for new and interesting places to go. I can often be found riding up Left Hand Canyon near Boulder, or Rampart Range near Sedalia, Colorado on my 98 RM 250
