See the ignition wires running
through the front motor mounts on this Husky? Well, normal vibration
will eventually cut through the wire and short it out, often smoking
the ignition in the process. A zip tie will keep it from moving
around.
To make sure that your Maico
(or CZ) rear brake arm returns, fit a fresh inner-tube rubber band
like this. It'll also keep the axle adjuster bolt clean.
Want to make your old motor
look like new? Heat resistant barbecue flat black grill paint is the
perfect match for most black-painted engines.
This little clip keeps the
Maico brake rod on your pedal. At least it's supposed to. To make
sure, put a zip-tie around the clip.
After you wash your bike (or
ride in wet conditions), always remove the wheels and lightly sand the
inside of the drums to remove the rust that builds up.
Do you suffer from sluggish
braking when it's wet out? Cut some grooves in the brake shoes and
it'll disperse the water quickly and easily.
