Sorry about the long overdue update. Updating Windows 98 can be a time consuming project. When you upgrade your computer to Windows 98, you'll understand. Mental Health professionals have finally accomplished their goal. Their original mission: pester the American public about the latest and greatest National Health problem known as - Attention Deficit Disorder, better known as ADD. Since ADD has been studied, National Mental Health Alarmists have discovered several types of ADD. These include, but are not limited to: ADHD (Attentions Deficit Hyperactive Disorder), ADHD-INATTENTIVE, ADHD-COMBINED, ADHD-RESIDUAL, ADHD-A Little, ADHD-Maybe, ADHD-Talks Too Much, ADHD-CRS (Can't remember shit)... The list is endless. "Studies" have shown that most ADD, or to be politically correct, 'Memory Disenfranchised', people enjoy high risk sports. Naturally, dirt biking is a high risk sport. The degree of the sports risk depends upon personal perception. Someone sitting in a Laz-Y-Boy recliner perceives the..

I whine a lot. It's a technique to get things I want. I learned about whining 35 years ago. It's a tool I still use and it still works! When ORC VW and Sand Car page editor Norm Lenhart informed me he was going to Ensenada, Mexico, to cover the Baja 1000, I whined. I wasn't going! Norm delicately directed my distress to the Off-Road.Com CEO, Pat Chicas. Pat bluntly stopped my whining by stating, "Get down here to the Baja 1000, now!" I packed my bags and left for Ensenada. I met Norm at his residence outside of Topock, AZ. After I rested, we loaded and left to pick up ORC race editor Tim McElroy in Temecula, CA. After a quick journey across Southern California, we arrived at Tim's. Quick introductions were delivered. After a brief discussion about who and what everyone was to drive into Mexico, Tim suggested that it would be just fine if all of us went in his truck. (Tim: Norm and I publicly thank you.) We stowed our bags, loaded two empty 5 gallon Jerry cans, and a cooler in the truck. Tim..

I'm sure all of us dirt bike riders have turned to the funny pages in the newspaper and read, along with the comics, the Horoscope. Sometimes it is called "Your Zodiac". Has any sage enlightenment contained in the horoscopes ever held true for yourself?

There is a silver colored device located between the engine and air filter box, on a dirt bike. The contraption is known as - a carburetor. It has been termed a lots of other peculiar names, besides carburetor. Here is a sample: Bing, Mikuni, Keihin, Amal (read the word twice, please) and Dell'orto. For many years, probably more like decades, I only recognized these words, and what they referred to. One day I deduced, all by myself, one meaningful dirt bike carburetor concept. The earth will move and the sky will shake after you read this! Dirt bike engine performance is drastically altered when the carburetor is removed. Not bad huh?

Take This Advice, and Go Save Troubles, Money, and Headaches Nov 1, 2005 By:Kirk Overby
One can always save a mere large sack of cash buying a used dirt bike, rather than buying new. However, before you give your money to the used dirt bike seller - BEWARE! What you get is what you will ride and live with. There are no warranties or returns.

So ya' think being an Off-Road Dirt Bike Editor is one of the best jobs in the world huh? It is truly one of the best jobs in the world, but the qualifications required to perform well in such a position are 'stringent'. And that's putting it mildly.

I've been around dirt bikes since I was 12 years old. Since then, I've either owned or ridden most Japanese dirt bikes. It wasn't until 1994 I mustered the courage to spend a mere large sack of cash for a European bike. Before then, I would either con some friend, or friend of a friend, to let me ride their European rig.
