Prominent KTM Factory Team members performed well in Day 2 of the 84th FIM International Six Days of Enduro in Figuera da Foz, Portugal on Tuesday as riders continued to tackle challenging sand and dust.

Some 500 Enduro enthusiasts gathered in Figuera da Foz on Monday for the first of six days of grueling riding as the 84th FIM International Six Days of Enduro got underway. The ISDE is the oldest offroad event in the FIM calendar.

Leading KTM Enduro Factory Team riders are in Figueira da Foz 4 on Portugal's the Atlantic coast to participate in the 84th International Six Days of Enduro, the highlight and finale of the 2009 outdoor racing season.

The tradition-rich event captured all of the thrills and excitement that stamps the sport of Motocross, attracting more than 25,000 fans to Italy's Autodromo di Franciacorta just south of Brescia.

The team will receive corporate sponsorship from returning sponsor, Jägermeister. Team operations will be handled by KTM Off-Road Racing Director Pit Beirer and managed in the US by Team Manager Casey Lytle. The new factory team will contest the 2010 outdoor motocross series with two team riders.

The event was a huge success with KTM riders participating in guided rides with KTM Dakar Rally rider Paul Krause and Shock Doctor/KTM Factory rider Mike Lafferty. KTM Factory Hare & Hound rider David Kamo was also present and gave a mini-riding school for interested KTM riders.
