American Motorcyclist Assoc (AMA)

Founded in 1924, the AMA has an unparalleled history of pursuing, protecting and promoting the interests of the world's largest and most dedicated group of motorcycle enthusiasts. The AMA focuses on rights, riding and racing through its government relations work, by sanctioning road and off-road riding activities and overseeing professional and amateur racing events.

The AMA Racing Hillclimb Grand Championships crown amateur national hillclimb champions in a number of classes, including youth and adult riders, across a range of skill and displacement levels.

The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) is pleased to announce that the 5th Annual Leather and Ice online auction, the proceeds of which support the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum, will go live on Oct. 18.

This holiday season there are 12 cards to choose from, with designs by two popular motorcycling artists, Dave Uhl and David Barnhouse. A new feature of the 2009 holiday card program is the ability to add a personalized greeting on the inside of all card designs, or upload a photo and a custom caption that can be displayed within two templates on the card cover.

The main hall is occupied by "MotoStars: Celebrities + Motorcycles," which showcases two-wheeled machines and memorabilia owned by some of Hollywood's biggest stars. In addition, "Awesome-Ness" includes several of the incredible one-off custom motorcycle creations by designer extraordinaire Arlen Ness.
