Thanks for the article! I bought a 2000 KLX 300 and it is like a tractor for hill climbing but I have been dissapointed with the throttle lag. I asked the mechanic at the selling dealer what I could do to get more response out of it and they told me that It is just a slow trail bike. Thats not what I expected out of the bike when I bought it at all. I thought I was buying a bike I could jump and throw around on the track too. I can't wait to wake this machine up that has been sleeping for the past 7 years!

Dear sirs, I just recently bought a 02 KLX300, and with a few modifications it can become a beast, with a white brothers exaust system and a few top and bottom end adjustments you can make this bike into a bad-A thumper.
