great writen even where i can understand it. dont know if u can answer a question,but here it is. i have a honda 2001 500 foreman rubicon that will not shift the d1-d2-esp lights flash constantly.have installed a new gear position switch. what else can it be?

I have a 2002 Honda 500 rubicon with 7000k on the odometer. The problem is not consistent with the ESP-D1-D2 are flashing on the display. Most of the time when the ignition is turned on the "N" is displayed. Aprox. 1 out of 10 times the flashing is displayed. Code "11" is indicated. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
