I am having a problem when I hit big jumps. when I land my shocks are compressing way to much. I am fixing my forks and my only question about the rear shock is can I just make my spring stiffer to fix the problem, I have a 94 kx 125 Thanks for all your help

I have 89 kdx 200 the rear shock is leaking oil it seams to be coming from the lower end of it. i am a first time onwer/rider is this something i can fix any help would be a big help
