Great info. I ride a Harley, which means (for newer models) a built-in knock, due to advanced timing to meet EPA standards. Here in Vegas, Premium gas is 91 octane, I'd like to boost it to 93+. So, now that I've read your article, how about some brand suggestions, and store names? C'mon, be a bud. Moose

great article.whats your opinion on MAKING your own octane booster from rubbing alcohol? i herd this works but will it damage the engine? we recently bought a new jet ski and i was thinking about adding some octane every other tank (so it doesnt get used to the effects of the octane) is there any point?
